About the Author

Emmy Award winning Writer/Producer/Director, Nancy Kassel Littlefield has proven her versatility in all three categories. Her diversified career covers a multitude of roles in the entertainment field. Ms. Littlefield was New York City’s Film Commissioner under Mayor Edward I. Koch. She has also worked as Associate Producer, Casting Director, Unit Production Manager, and First Assistant Director in feature films, educational and training films, Movies of the Week, pilots, industrials and commercials. Former Adjunct Professor of film/Columbia University, NYU School of the Arts, NYU School of Continuing Education, USC and The New School. Former Vice President of Directors Guild of America and New York Women In Film. Ms. Littlefield resides in New York City and is currently Executive Director, Executive Producer of four public television channels.
