About the Author

The author has worked in the rehabilitation field of alcoholism and other drugs for over thirty-five years. Along with being a counselor, he has taught causes in Addiction Counseling. Through his years of counseling, he became increasingly aware of the role of “spirituality” in recovery, especially those who experience depression in their recovery. This lead to his writing two previous books: “I am Not Yet Born”, and “Serenity’s Prayer”. This book continues the theme of journey: from addiction/depression, or “Exile”, to recovery, or “Home”, the settling into wholeness , of oneself.
