About the Book

Mrs.Glassman has been teaching piano in her home for fifteen years. She has had five of her songs published by Hilltop Records in California. She is a member of the Famous Poets Society, International Library of Poetry, National Authors Registry. Seven of the poems she wrote have been published by Harcourt and Brace in an accounting journal based in England. Recently her children’s book “The Sloppy Floppy Tales of Charlee the Elephant published by DDDD is for sale on the internet by 1st books. Also Mrs. Glassman has recieved eleven editor’s choice awards from the National Library of Poetry for her poetry. She has poems published by Poetry Press, Quill Books, Poetry Unlimited and in Poetry Protocol. At the Holocaust Museum in Washington D.C. upstairs in the Archives there is a musical score written for the book “Take Care of Josette” by Jacqueline Wolf. Mrs.Glassman composed this music. Sandra has been married for forty two years to Stewart. They have a son and daughter. Sandra graduated form Samuel J. Tilden High School in Brooklyn in 1958. Sandra has published a book of poetry especially for children. The book titled “A Poetry Jamboree for Kids” was released in 1999. Sandra sells her poems for all occasions and also writes under the pen name “Melodee.”
