e. The Year Round Tepee in architecture.
f. Environmentalism, reverence for life, conservation of natural resources, and the inspiration from ecology.

About the Author Chemistry major, career as science writer-editor for 32 years with research laboratories such as Stanford Research Institute. Veteran World War II, 3 years Army /O.S.S. Leisure writing included poetry, novels, short stories, short-short stories, magazine articles, newspaper features, columns, and editorials. Published little magazine on Indians. Did research with brother Frank on Sioux and Chevenne Indians for historical novel published in 1963.Four prize-winning poems in four different forms: sestina, ode, sonnet, and narrative.
