About the Book

The Fourth World City of Delights, that dilapidated mobile homeless shelter, drug rehab, haven for the heartbroken, and dubious moving safe house of the Witness Dislocation Program disguised as a carnival is temporary home to an unlikely group of refugees.

Wanda, the tattooed fat lady who runs the show, is running from her past, yet longing for the daughter she left behind.

Ivy Knowes, the beautiful young heiress and sometime psychic is running from the pain and betrayal of her handsome but faithless Sioux lover.

 Andy Darling, the handsome, young, almost James Dean look-alike who leaves his dysfunctional family and his ranch home in Wyoming to join the City of Delights is sure of nothing except his budding love for Ivy.    

Max Mayfield, owner of the carnival, is hiding from a dangerous past that threatens his very life.

Mr. Tso, the old Navajo who is friend and teacher to Ivy, guides and helps them all to find their way.

Moonwalker, Sioux warrior and friend to Crazy Horse, is the irksome, behind the scenes agitator and manipulator from the Spirit World who is actively seeking the home he always wanted, too. It is his none too subtle machinations that will determine the fate of them all.
