Near future, fringe vigilantes inflict a finite justice on a corrupt judge and prosecutor, then infiltrate a militia group to investigate a covert plan to overthrow the government. Three affluent men and two savvy women prosecute a crooked State Judge and his cronies. Surviving several attacks on their lives, they deliver a lethal ‘fair injustice’ to their would-be assassins. Thrown together in the midst of peril and intrigue, two of the members fall in love, bringing the tight-knit group even closer together. Through a personal Fed contact, the team contracts to investigate a radical militia group’s planned hostile takeover of the government. During their undercover work and dangerous liaisons, they lose one operative, realizing, almost too late, that they are included as targets in the Fed’s covert campaign to cripple America’s too popular patriot movement. Caught in the middle at a patriot/militia grand rally, the team’s fast thinking and swift actions thwart a ‘fell swoop’ operation, saving thousands of lives, including their own. The drama peaks when circumstances force the newest team member, a former attorney, to personally take a life. Laced with torrid love scenes (explicit sex), fictionalized history and little known facts, "Fair Injustice...sic semper tyranus" rights some wrongs, induces scary thoughts and relieves the reader of the onus of needing to exact some revenge from someone who may have wronged him or her in the past. special discount P>

About the Author

Mitchell Bailey, aka 'the Mick, has traveled the Americas for more than 30 years, even living for long periods of time in various foreign countries. His talents run the gamut from farming to music to mechanics and carpentry. His insight of human frailties is almost frightening, as he verbally dissects accepted truths, laying them open to anyone who would dare to read his works. At 56 years old, he is no longer the proverbial angry young man ... he is now mellowed with a tongue-in?cheek' philosophical outlook. His down to earth writing style sometimes stymies the establishment, as he shoots from the hip, wounding everyone, especially himself. Like it or not, he is but a product of modern society, and stalwartly refuses to sugar?coat his stories and characters.
