About the Book

Yiddish humor is a world apart from any other. It requires a smattering of understanding the Jewish persona. For those of us who can understand and perhaps speak Yiddish these jokes will bring back some fond memories. Those that are not able to speak or understand Yiddish will only get the laffs; worthwhile in any event. For forty plus years I have been collecting humor. Yes! There was humor before the Internet. Let it suffice to say I have stacks of humor in my files. The Internet was a bonanza to me. Many of my friends started sending me “Yiddish jokes”. They forced me get on the World Wide Web. I have compiled some of the humor into this book. It was a lot of fun for me and I hope it will bring a smile to you. Remember! This is not a novel to be read continuously. Read a few jokes each day and tell them to your friends. Help bring a bit of humor into their lives.
