About the Book
In Greg Marszal’s second book of Poetry, he illuminates the idea that each human being is not only him-or her self, in the ordinary sense of egoistic individuality, but also the significant point where the phenomena of the world intersects with consciousness, making possible a broader concept of personal identity. When one see the world form this point-of-view, what follows is a discovery of the sacred, without the trappings of theology or supernatural hocus-pocus. Marszal’s metaphysical insight rests on what he calls “our blatant connection to the world around us” and his poems demonstrate that transcendence is possible-indeed, unavoidable -if we only open our eyes and our heart.
