About the Book

Summary The Crocodile Who Came to Tea is a humorous, whimsical story. Imagine opening the cupboard under the sink to find a crocodile. Smelling jelly on your fingers he wanted to eat you for lunch. That happened to Megan’s Grandma Bea. Megan´s friend, Barbie, suggested inviting him to a tea party so he would become friendly. The crocodile was thrilled and dressed up for the party. They were surprised to see that the crocodile was a girl. Megan, the crocodile and Grandma develop a close friendship. The story describes their adventures together in nine chapters. Book Reviews This Fable tells the adventures of an anthropomorphic crocodile with an extended family and their friends. Against a background of everyday events, characters experience greed, violence, magic, strength, hospitality, camouflage and heroism. Problem solving is a motif, and the moral is the redemptive power of kindness. Enjoy! Donna Doyka, Jungian student of Fables and Fairy Tales I enjoyed this story. It’s very whimsical and lends itself to creative illustration. The Crocodile Who Came to Tea has good dialog and story structure, too. Anonymous Short Story Contest judge.
