About the Book

It was the summer of 1989 and Archie Legions needed time to think. It was his summer between graduating law school and taking the bar exam. One of his best friends had just died, the best friend that he’d hoped to upgrade to wife. Archie Legions had spent his whole life trying to make others happy and now he just wanted to do something for himself, something simple and ordinary, and something no one else would understand. He got behind the wheel of a taxicab and got lost in the ghettos of Chattanooga.

About the Author

Tim Hooker is a teaching writer in Cleveland, Tennessee, and holds a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing from the University of Memphis. He is the author of Rocket Man, A Rhapsody of Short Stories and Duncan Hambeth: Furniture King of the South. In addition to his work in fiction, he is known for his work in local television, radio, and newspapers. He lives with his wife, Rhonda, and their four cats.
