About the Author
Thomas J. Sowell, Director of Sowell Manufacturing Consulting, began his career in 1972. At that time he was enrolled in a government sponsored apprenticeship program while employed in several manufacturing companies. Today, he provides engineering and management consulting services to some of the most prestigious Fortune 200 manufacturing companies including Tyco International, Lucent Technologies, General Electric, Kendall Healthcare, Hubbell, Inc., Gillette Company, Pall Corporation, AMP Electronics, Simplex, and several family-owned businesses. He is a member of the Chief Executive Officers’ Club, the Institute of Management Consultants and the Institute of Industrial Engineers. . He resides in a rural New England town located nearby Boston, Massachusetts.
