About the Book
You can read this true story of how God changed Robert Louis Kidd. In this book Robert shares with his son, intimate details about what happened to him and how it changed his life forever.
Robert grew up in extreme poverty during the great depression, overcame several illnesses, served in the U. S. Navy during World War Two, and came home at the end of the war physically and emotionally broken. He was unable to pursue a college education because of his poor health , but also due to the fact that he was unable to finance the much needed education.
Despite his lack of a quality education Robert rose to prominence as a hospital administrator, where he had honors heaped on him year after year. He tells of three events that led him finally to a total surrender to what God had in mind for him all along.
When God called him to a new Christian ministry, he willingly obeyed. He gave up his very successful hospital career and trusted God to meet all his needs. Robert tells about receiving new power to reach thousands of people with God's message of salvation.
Does God really speak to us individually today? Does He have a plan for our lives? Is He speaking to you? How can you know? As you read Robert's story, keep these questions in mind. Who knows? Perhaps He is calling you to do something special. Talk to Him in prayer. Ask Him. Then listen closely to see what He has to say to you.
