About the Book
Hook up or break up—that’s what Jordan set out to answer when she invited her childhood friend, Mathew, to Halabar City. Yet what was a simple question turns into a bizarre quest into the unknown. Fortune leads Jordan and Mathew to a travel agent fortune-teller who instructs them to embark on a journey to a city beyond the borders of a normal reality. It is there that the pair encounters an outcast ferryman, a werewolf, a mysterious masked stranger, a cruel Madonna, and a wild queen. As Jordan travels throughout the gender-segregated city, she discovers that the civilization isn’t as harmonious as they claim to be.
About the Author
Sarah Chin is a native New Yorker and graduate of Brooklyn College, City University of New York. She is a long-time lover of science fiction and surrealism.
