Hazel Needs Glasses

About the Book

There’s nothing Hazel enjoys more than spending time at a nearby elementary school. She visits children inside their classrooms, as well as on the playground. Come along for the ride while Hazel experiences fear, uncertainty, and confidence, as she discovers the need to wear glasses.

About the Author

Jane Hutchinson grew up in the Bay Area in Northern California. She began teaching elementary school in 1990 and soon incorporated puppets into her classroom. Currently residing in Centennial, Colorado, Jane enjoys spending time with her husband and two daughters. They recently learned to ski in the Rocky Mountains and often ride bicycles together. Jane Hutchinson teaches at the school down the path behind her house, where she and Hazel engage students every day.
