About the Book
This is a humorous and delightful fairy tale about a baby ladybug whose mom tells her to go into the forest and find a friend. The young ladybug does not know what a friend looks like but meets a baby spider. About the Author
Carolyn Hales grew up in Fort Worth and is a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin. She teaches elementary school in Texas where she has taught 1st and 2nd grades. This is her first book and was inspired while teaching her students about the comparisons of insects and spiders. Her classroom is full of fun books that encourage children to read. She loves teaching and writing books and hopes to write many more books that inspire children to learn.
