About the Book

Sarah Stevenson is my pastor and she is an inspiration in my life. She has shared many of her poems with me. I am happy because now that she has written her book, others will have the opportunity to experience what I have experienced. My favorite is “The Journey.” This poem touched my heart and inspired me to be a better person. I hope others will be inspired as well. —BP, NJ God bless you, Pastor! Your poems have helped me through many trials and have brought much joy and peace to my broken heart. Thank you for “sharing.” —Min. K. H., NJ.

About the Author

My wife, Sarah Stevenson, sees herself as a child of God. Therefore, she seeks to reflect the light of God even as the moon reflects the light of the sun. This part of her character can be seen in her writing, her speech, and in the practical things she does from day to day. People are drawn to her because she is concerned about their well-being. She is willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need; her counsel is wise and when followed, causes one to prosper in the favor of God and mankind. Sarah Stevenson, my wife, is a strong pillar with messages in poems and writings that are able to enhance the lives of all who take the time to read and to meditate on them. She understands that words are powerful, that words can build one up that is at the lowest level of despair, or that words can cause one to soar at a level never before thought possible. She understands that people who she may never see personally can be touched by her writings. On a personal note, my wife is a great communicator! She is able to say in a few words something that is complicated with such clarity that even a child can understand. She instructs, encourages, and inspires through her writings that has led me to a better understanding of myself and others, and a greater appreciation of other people. I am a better person because I took the time to read what she has written. —Roosevelt Stevenson, RN, BSN MST
