About the Author
About the Author Olivia D’Josef is currently a certified dance educator for Dekalb County Schools in Georgia. She earned an M.Ed. in Reading from Rollins College and an Ed. S. in Teacher Leadership from Mercer University. Ms. D’Josef specializes in instruction of students ages 2 - 12 in the disciplines of Ballet, Modern, Jazz and Tap dance. She has served as President-Elect for Dance Educators of Georgia, and was selected to the Georgia School Improvement Panel to revise the curriculum standards in dance for the State of Georgia. Ms. D’Josef presents workshops on integrating the arts and academies. She has one son, Joseph, who is nine years old. About the Illustrator Charles Sheppard is a graduate of the Art Institute of Atlanta and uses his talents to do freelance and commissioned work. I Can Do My Ballet is his first illustrated children’s book.
