About the Book

The Long Drive Home captures the imagination of young and old alike. It tells the tale of a young man who loses his wife to a fatal illness and travels across the country looking for a place to call home for a Publishing Company. During his journey he meets Eric who joins up with him on his adventures and thinks of pursuing a career in astrophysics , Mani the Bed and Breakfast owner who introduces him to his new world. Mona the Transcendent Teacher gives new meaning to the way in which we communicate with each other. And others which gave direction and guidance along the way.

About the Author

Irene C. Crecy’s journey began on January 15, 1958 in Selma, Alabama. Her love for reading and writing began at an early age. She graduated from Nursing School with a B.S.N. and started her career as a travel nurse which took her across the U.S. and to Saudi Arabia. She also traveled to Sri Lanka, Cyprus, Egypt, Costa Rica, Hawaii, Jamaca, Amsterdam and London. She is a mother to one son and seven grandchildren. She enjoys walking trails, cooking, surfing the web and the wonderful world of music and dance. Throughout the course she studied the Kabalah for the past twenty years.
