This is a heartwarming tale of the uninhibited, unconditional love and everlasting joy children bring, set against the backdrop of the beautiful island paradise that is Guam. Inspired by the author’s three little granddaughters—Miyah Gean, Madison Ann, and Gabrielle Elise—this extraordinary book promises to melt hearts, lift spirits, and teach the readers to appreciate the special relationships life has blest them with.

About the Author

Elizabeth Acfalle Mafnas graduated with honors at the International Business College of Guam, majoring in Small Business Management. She is the daughter of the late Jose T. and Maria M. Acfalle. Upon graduation from Notre Dame High School, Elizabeth worked as a legal secretary in the law offices of Trapp, Gayle, Teker, Weeks & Friedman while attending the University of Guam. She later took on jobs as a real estate salesperson and insurance agent. Following a rewarding career in the Public Defender Service Corpora-tion and the Supreme Court of Guam, Elizabeth began to focus on her poetry, a passion she’s had for most of her life. In the winter of 2006, one of her poems was featured in Twilight Musings, a compilation of poetry from around the world, published by the International Library of Poetry. Recently, Noble House and Barnes & Noble, among the world’s fore-most publishers, have asked to publish Elizabeth’s poetry. In July 2006, Elizabeth was inducted into the International Society of Poets. Prior to her induction, she received the International Outstanding Achievement in Poetry Award and a Commemorative Award Medal-lion. She was also given the Editor’s Choice Award by the Interna-tional Library of Poetry. She affectionately credits her success in life to the Almighty God, her family, and astute individuals, who have made a profound impact in her life: Justice Janet Healy Weeks, Attorney Howard G. Trapp, the Honorable Governor Ricardo J. Bordallo, Dr. Josue Dizon, Dr. Laura Souder-Bestances, Mr. Ed Gould, Mr. Dave Ecret, Rev. Fa-ther John T. Moore, Dr. Richard Tennessen, Dr. Kirk Bellis, and a multitude of outstanding lawyers, both in private and public practice, including those in the Public Defender Service Corporation and the Ju-diciary of Guam.
