About the Book

An ancient evil wants to get back a hold inside Krandom. Young sky knight Mickalie, and his rare black dragon Shadow, are swept into the middle of an epic struggle for control over this grand kingdom. Darkness is brewing in foul magic. Someone wants Krandom’s crown and Mickalie’s life. Krandom will fall, even if a deal has to be made with this vilest evil to do so. Mickalie’s loyalty to his kingdom will be tested, as this darkness pursues him and his new found love, the enchanting princess Serenity. His past scars will be ripped open, and his future will decide Krandom’s fate. Will he be able to stand against evil incarnate or will the Rising Dragon Prince’s evil magic end them all….. And this is only the beginning.

About the Author

Born in rural South Carolina, David loves the outdoors and country life. A love for nature grew from years on the family farm. A strong will of creating and growing things lead to an attraction to writing. The days spent as a young boy playing along open fields and scattered woods inspired a flow of imagination. A firm belief in fairness, and doing the right thing, inspired characters of strong moral fiber and vile villains. Childhood eyes which turned ditches into canyons, creeks into rivers, trees into mountains, and birds into soaring dragons shaped the worlds of his works. Never losing a love to make things grow. That is what drives David to write, to create. This passion brings forth true life in his characters that shape them to become more real in every page. A tragic accident his senior year of high school, almost cost him his life, and left him confined to a wheelchair for some length of time. From the tragedy, David learned to look on others in a new light. He learned to live each day as if the last, and not to back down from challenges. Back in good health, old collections of personal writings started to become more. At this moment the author was born from a writer and stories became a book to share with the world. David hopes to inspire, entertain, and motivate people to read between the lines and find themselves a place inside his works to root themselves and grow.
