About the Author
Patience Fort is a clinical staff pharmacist at the University of Kentucky’s Chandler Medical Center, the wife of a pastor and the mother of three children. In addition to Maggie, Patience and her daughter, Elizabeth (pictured here at the age of 7), have rescued a turtle and various cats. Jonathan Rollins is an artist and student at Eastern Kentucky University.
