About the Author

Roxanne Mehlisch, the inspiration Roxanne Mehlisch was raised in Zearing, Iowa. She attended school at Buena Vista University and Iowa State University, graduating with a degree in history. Roxanne is a Post Master and enjoys old barns, genealogy, travel, and all things dragon. She makes her home on a family farm with her husband Gary. Rosemary Williams, author Rosemary Williams grew up in Coon Rapids, Iowa. She graduated from Northwest Missouri State University with a major in English, and taught middle school and high school English for many years. Her hobbies include reading, writing, and traveling. Rosemary resides on a farm outside New Providence, Iowa, with her husband Marvin. Mary Reece, illustrator Born and raised in Marshalltown, Iowa, Mary Reece attended Marshalltown Community College and the University of Northern Iowa, majoring in art. She currently works in the local high school media center. She enjoys reading, antiquing, and her grandchildren. Mary lives in New Providence, Iowa, with her husband Ron.
