About the Book

Albert Bentley was a troubled kid! He put all of his trust into his special rock. When he went to Sunday school with Jimmy Parker, he embarrassed Jimmy in front of all his friends. Albert began stealing things, ignored his parents, and depended on his rock. He fought with Dave Harris, stole a bike, rode to a neighboring town and found more trouble. In the fantasy chapter, Janie Logan and the unicorns help Albert to see that he needs God’s help. As Janie and her friends help Albert, she learns a valuable lesson of her own.

About the Author

Ruth M. Kirby was born in Kentucky but has lived most of her life in Arizona. In younger years, she attended church camps and later taught various age levels in Sunday school. A retired teacher, she has spent time traveling, writing, and loves to be with her children and grandchildren. She has three daughters and six grands from ages ten to twenty-seven. Soon after retirement, she and her husband traveled in the U.S. and Canada where one of her daughters now lives. She hopes readers will enjoy reading her books as much as she enjoyed writing them.
