About the Author

Carolyn Marie Morman was born in Anson County on June 25, 1969 and raised in Lilesville, NC . A small town in Anson County on Cowan Street. A first time author she has received several awards for her poetry writing and as a result have several poems in National Anthologies, in the Library of Congress. An up and coming poet she still finds time to give back to her community and does a lot of volunteer work. She and her son Elijah Willoughby have made a home for themselves and plan to continue here in Anson County for the time being. She now resides in Wadesboro, North Carolina...
