About the Book

Here is a collection of poems that express love and compassion from the heart of the writer to her beloved, children, family, and friends. If you are a romantic at heart but have difficulty finding the words to say, these poems will say it for you. The photography was taken from the authors’ eye to show the natural beauty in everyday things. If there is love then there is life, if there is life then there is beauty. Allow love to live through each and every one of us and the world will come to life before our eyes.

About the Author

Wakiatiiosta Davona Lee Sharrow is a Kanienkehaka Native American raised on the Akwesasne Reservation in Northern New York. After high school she took time to raise her four children and decided to pursue a degree in Criminal Justice. She is an owner of a small business where she sells beaded jewelry. Over the years she has taken part in demonstrations promoting peace and unity for native people across the nation. Writing continues to be her passion.
