About the Author
William Charles Kelsch was born in Bismarck ND on September 2nd 1932, the middle child of the seven children of Clemens and Mary Roche Kelsch. Bill gradated valedictorian from Mandan High School in 1950, obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree, cum laude, from St. John’s University, Collegeville, MN in 1953, and a Juris Doctor degree, from the University of North Dakota in 1956. He lived and practiced law in the city of Mandan, ND, retiring after 42 years. He served as Morton Co. States Attorney, ND State Representative, Constitutional Convention Delegate and Chairman, ND Parole Board. He Married Joan Wise in 1954, having four children, Steven, Thomas, Mary and Jean with seven grandchildren. His daughter Mary died in 2010. Bill wrote the poems in this little book over the years as inspired from time to time.
