About the Book

Meedleton, Kansas—a peaceful town where a very strange tableau is about to unfold. A quiet community where a certain group of youngsters is about to fi nd out that one does not have to leave Kansas on a strange journey to escape reality or go look for the good Witch of the North or the great and powerful Oz for an instantaneous and miraculous rescue. But that, oftentimes, the beautiful mystery of magic can be found in our very own backyard, even in the form of the tiniest and most exotic creatures one ever even knew existed—the mythical fairy.

About the Author

Sabino was born in March 1954 in Sinton, Texas. He married his high school sweetheart, Beatrice, in January 1974. He enjoys fishing, bicycling, softball, dominoes, and barbecuing. He and his wife are faithful members of the First Baptist Church in the city of Portland, where they both now reside.
