SNOWFLAKES KNOCKING AT MY WINDOW

About the Book

This book is showing how a boy being awakened by a sudden knock at his window. At that time he never knew how different his life would change. He met these little snowfl akes and became friends with them. I truly believe this boy had no idea how he would react. Just the excitement of seeing those little snowflakes talking to him. The next morning his friends were still there waiting on him. All of his friends and dogs were very happy to go out and play in the snow, and build snowmen. This little boy was saddened when it all had to end

About the Author

My name is Cynthia Weathers, born in Germanville, in the county of Charleston, South Carolina. I attended Santee Elementary and Lincoln High School then graduated from Lincoln High School on May 28, 1968 and then moved to Brooklyn, New York, right after. Then fourteen years later, I married my childhood sweetheart Larry D. Geathers. The two of us attended the same high school. The loss of Larry brought me closer to my writing. I had needed the inner strength that had been locked up inside of me. My parents had created this mold of me that, in this life or any other lifetime, could not be created again. My fi rst book, The Hopes and Dreams for Many Tomorrow, has inspired me to continue on. Through love, loss, deaths, and illnesses, these poems have captured my ability to create a little joy, peace of mind, and excitement. The heart has proven once again that it could withstand the entire storm that may come its way.
