Whether love is real or imagined, reciprocal or unrequited, lost or newly discovered, it’s still the most powerful emotion there is. Deeci Murphy is a Philadelphia poet, author, and teacher. Deeci is Philly born and raised. She looks at her home from a whole different perspective. I don’t write about the dressed up City of Brotherly Love. I write about what Philly’s like when our company goes home. This is the Philly I know and write about, raw and real.
