About the Book

Twilight was a purple cat. He didn't like being purple. He didn't like the snail stew his witch served him. He didn't like his rickety, well-hidden lodge in the woods.

Twilight wished for salmon. He wished to live in the castle he could see from the tallest tree in the woods.

"My witch won't miss me. I will go right now." With fresh cream in mind, he set off to live in the castle.

But does living in luxury meet Twilight's expectations?

About the Author

Lucy grew up in the market town of Welshpool in Wales and as a child often visited Powis Castle with her Uncle David who volunteered there. She spent her time exploring the beautiful castle, gardens and parkland and later worked at the castle during her gap year.

Lucy currently lives in Oxfordshire with her husband, James, and two-year-old daughter, Willow. Whenever they return to Welshpool to visit family and friends, they visit Powis Castle. It was on one of these recent visits that Lucy decided to base her book on the castle.
