About the Author

Winifred Smith Eure is enjoying her retirement by keeping active as President of the Martin Luther King Jr. Civic Club, an affiliate of the New Jersey State Federation of Colored Women’s Clubs, Inc. & Youth Affiliates, as well as Editor of the Heard Herald, her church Newsletter, member of the Heard Lay Organization and Senior Fellowship auxiliaries at her church, tutoring young children in the school district where she resides and spending time with family and friends. Winifred is a former Teacher of the Newark Board of Education in New Jersey. She is a graduate of Douglass College - Rutgers the State University, New Brunswick, NJ where she received a BA in Sociology. She later attended Kean University in Union, NJ where she received her Special Education Teaching Certification and MA in Special Education, specializing in Learning Disabilities. Reflections: The Way I See It is the 7th book she has written.
