This devotional written by Loris DeMarco has a devotion for each day of the year.  The purpose is to offer insights which are based on the original Hebrew text of the Holy Scriptures.It has been titled “The Aleph and Tav Devotional” which is only one of the amazing insights offered.  The Aleph and Tav which is a word comprised of two letters in Hebrew is את and it appears twice in just the first verse of the Bible. (בראשית ברא אלהים את השמים ואת הארץ)In the whole of the Tanach which is the Old Testament as we know it, there are 70,000 usages of this word, according to The Brown-Driver-Briggs Hebrew and English Lexicon.  (What a perfect number.) As this word was not translated, this information has not been available to the Christian believers in general until this time. To find the revelation of the Aleph and Tav, there are articles in this book on January 5, 6, 14; July 28; August 18; October 20 and December 31. The את by appearing 70,000 times from Genesis through to Malachi is like a mark, or a sign given to us by God. It displays to us the majesty and power and wisdom of God. It proves that these books belong together and we can have confidence in the Word of God. It is all so wonderful and amazing. All glory to His Name. You do not need to know the Hebrew alphabet nor be able to read Hebrew in order to benefit from this devotional.  The work has been done and all you need to do is just enjoy.
