About the Book
More than sixty years later, author Terry Wayne Williamson Sr. realizes his childhood memories hold a lot of meaning. Between the tender age of four-and-a-half and five-and-a-half, he experienced many changes. His parents divorced, he and his mother moved to a new home in a new city, his dad started an eighteen-month jail term, and his mother remarried. In The Easy Way or the Hard Way, Williamson tells his story, sharing how, despite a troubled childhood, a kid still has an opportunity to achieve major milestones. His challenging early years in an urban area paved the way for a happy ending in rural America. Between the two settings is the story of an individual who worked hard to overcome obstacles and achieve goals. From distinguished service in the US Army to earning a master’s degree and becoming a CPA, Williamson chronicles his journey and the knowledge he gained in the process.
