About the Book

It was a typically warm summers day as the tipper trucks rested together under the shade of gum trees while their drivers had lunch. The trucks enjoyed a break from carrying the heavy loads of gravel and took the chance to cool down and have a chat. Hodgy an old V8 square cabin style tipper truck was particularly grumpy today as he had been at the rear of the four trucks and his sky blue paint was covered in dust. He chuffed to the other trucks with a small cough. “I am sick of being at the back. I heard we are doing the steep part of the road next. My driver Glen is the most experienced so he may even get to lead!”
