About the Book

About the Author
Stephen E. Pierce was born in Portsmouth, New Hampshire in 1943. He received a Bachelors of Science of Geology at Long Beach State University in 1970 and a Master of Science of Geology at San Diego State University in 1974. Mr. Pierce served four years in the navy from 1961 to 1965. He has worked in international petroleum geology all over the world including two years exploring for oil in Sumatra and Borneo (Kalimantan). Presently, he is exploring for oil and gas in the Dominican Republic. Mr. Pierce and his wife Claire currently live in Texas.
