Two Wives tells the story of a young man’s struggle to become the doctor he had always dreamed of becoming. Curiosity about his father’s death pushed him into the study of pathology, only to learn how miserable his life had become. Depressed over the loss of his little Cuban friend Luis to the drug world, combined with his spoiled wife’s unwillingness to share her husband with his career, Dr. Johnny Bova, now divorced, finds solace in Mexico and in the arms of beautiful Olivia. While there, he learns that his calling is to treat live patients and becomes determined to change his life. Fate and Olivia’s family keep them apart for five years, until a letter from Costa Rica drives him to search for the love that has long eluded him.
