About the Book

During the Civil War when General Butler took formal possession of New Orleans on May 1, 1862, those who were not loyal to Louisiana fled from burning antebellum homes and plantations, with money sewn in their clothing and a faithful servant.

The SECRET BAGGAGE depicts such a group of people who settled in a secluded area near the bayous, hidden from battlefields, to start a community of law-abiding citizens from a derelict world.

Love, intrigue, voodoo, rape and negative past visions woven into a pattern of ordinary and are not so ordinary people dedicated to creating a new life and release the fragmented patterns of the past. It is a story you will long remember.
