About the Book

This tale of good and evil extremes happened among a few Americans living in Germany during the Reagan years. Terror and hatred aimed at Americans led into adventure and conflict, into the courage to die ahead of time, into the Orphic madness between men and women. The story is told by a witness bookish to a fault. While living out his hopeless love story, he tells us of Lust and Murder by Darkness out of Tiger, these two midnight siblings in their long hot run to the barn, longing for the Old Days when the ground shook all over Deutschland.

About the Author

Warren R B Dixon, a native of Kentucky and Ohio, served as a seaman in the United States submarine service in the Pacific in WWII. He is the author of three previous novels available in hardback or Kindle from his author’s page in Amazon. He maintains a literary Internet site at warrendixon.com. The author is an economist and professor emeritus from the SUNY system. He has lived in and taught university classes in Latvia, Spain, and Germany. He presently lives in the upper Champlain Valley in New York
