About the Author

Born in Washington, D.C., in the age of the Space Race, WILLIAM E. DYSON III spent his childhood reading sci-fi to escape the violence faced by many black teenagers of today. He graduated from Morgan State University in 1982, fulfilling his dream of becoming a scientist. Commissioned as an officer in the U.S. Army, he served in operations Just Cause war in Panama, Desert Storm war in Iraq, and Bosnia maintaining peace. Now pursuing interests in space travel, aviation, inventor and earth sciences.
