About the Book

William (Whit) Whitten flew jet airplanes. He was in his element when he had one hand on the throttle, one on the stick and his feet on the pedals, boring holes in the sky. He, like all other pilots, knew they were allotted a certain number of flights. If they took that last one they would crash and burn. That’s why they lived one day at a time. Tomorrow they may die. Whit was pushing the envelope with mid air collisions and crash landings but love by the name of Samantha came along and saved him from that last flight.
