PAX HUMANA struggles against the rising tide of corporate power. UNICOR has swallowed all but the weakest of its rival corporations and stands now on the brink of world domination. Only a small corps of idealists, sequestered in the dubious security of the Lagrange-5 government colonies stands in their way. That and one more minor obstacle - the colonies of the Saturnian System.

In the decade that followed the Titan debacle, humiliation and vengeance burn in the minds of UNICOR’s governing board. Especially UNICOR’s board chairman, Jaspera Yee, in whose mind visions of PAX FEMINA’s past glory still dwells. Plans are laid and a secret base is established for the construction of a new war fleet. Unaware of the impending threat, the Titan colonists have prospered. Their fabled wealth, however, is a myth. There is no gold, no precious gems left, no industrial might. Their prosperity lies solely in the industry and innovations of its people. Democracy reigns, and in its benevolent pattern the prosperity. Education, health and freedom are its wealth. And this is what flames the wrath of UNICOR’s leaders the most.
