About the Book

In his search for The Far Isles, Kai encounters Thirlingen, a barb-tailed dragon: Creech. a troll who thirsts for Kai’s blood; Pagan. a family ghost who will not rest, and a black Enchanter who wants to kill all who bear Kai’s family name. He learns more about his Elvish roots and that he shall be the last to wield the extreme power gained on his eighteenth birthday...a power which will place huge responsibility on a young Elf’s shoulders.

About the Author

Jude Hatcher Bangs, an Ojai, California native, lives in a medieval condo in Sarasota, Florida. Entering her front door, one is transported back many centuries by stone, ceiling beams, plaster, and old English furnishings. During a trip to England many years ago, she visited a manor house with grounds that featured a staircase exactly like one in her recurring childhood dream. That, plus an extraordinary man she met (6’5” tall, lithe, with the greenest eyes she’d ever seen), were the inspiration for The Elf King series. There are two more books in the series thus far but.. .who knows how far she will delve into Elvish history...for hers is an old soul in touch with a realm beyond.
