About the Book

The Daughters of Eve is a book written about fifteen women in the Bible who are not much different than we are. They had the same hopes, dreams, desires and faults that many women face today. What I attempted to do in the pages of this book is take a closer look at our sisters and try to imagine how things were in their times and even imagine how they may have thought or felt. Some of these women had to come up against insurmountable odds. They had to deal with racism, sexism, slavery, domestic abuse, feast and famine and much more. Some were queens, peasants, prophetess and prostitutes. Whatever their lot in life, God thought it was important enough to place them between the pages of the greatest book of all times, the Bible. I pray something you read will inspire you in your walk with the Lord.

About the Author

Linda R. Seay is the wife of Dr. Tommy Seay Jr., minister and founder of the Rise Again Ministry. To this marriage was born Tommy III, Tony and Carletta. Linda developed a hunger and thirst for the Word of God, reading everything she could get into her hands. It was during this search that the Lord told her He wanted her to teach His people. While she was feeding on the Word, raising her family, and working as a nursing assistant, the Lord was preparing her for things to come. In 1998 she graduated from the International College of Bible Theology with an Associate Degree of Biblical Studies. In March 1999 she became a licensed ordained minister. And in 2000 she graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Pastoral Theology and also became President of the Joliet Aglow Community Lighthouse. God has used her to teach and minister His Word just as He spoke years before. Linda has also written and published a book of poetry entitle “A Doorway to a Dream”. She currently ministers with her husband in their ministry Rise Again. Tommy and Linda have been married over 30 years. They have two beautiful daughters in love, Lidia and Shamone. And two wonderful grandsons Mario and Tony Jr. Together they teach and minister to those in prison, the homeless and families. Linda desires to see people live and be all that God has called them to be.
