Osborne's World

About the Book

Osborne, a mouse, lives in Osborne House on the Isle of Wight off the coast of England. Now home from America where he learned to read, write, and also how to talk the way people do, Osborne begins to explore his world. In the process, he learns just how wonderful it is. In fact, he finds out that it is so magnificent he has a hard time thinking of the perfect word to describe it. But, finally, he does. The world God created is AWESOME! The book is beautifully illustrated by Carolyn Mortimer.

About the Author

Clara Stevenson is a graduate of Peirce Business College in Philadelphia and for a time was employed by the Presbyterian Board of Christian Education. Later, she was the Home Service Director of the Gloucester County New Jersey Chapter of the American Red Cross before working for several years at the General Offices of the Campbell Soup Company in Camden, NJ. Her own dream, long-deferred, was to write. She lives in southern New Jersey as she always has and is the author of The New Minister; The Devil’s Booth; Bits and Pieces; and Dreams and Desires as well as several children’s picture books including Osborne, the Literary Mouse.
