To wind up with more than 21,000 images, you have to pack every breathing moment into the viewfinder. We were up before the sun sparkled over the ocean’s horizon. Rising and shining at 5am every day. And the guys and I were still shooting long after the sun went down.

This place just inspires. It has a long, colorful history. I love that the most famous female pirate captains hailed from here. Our models were far from pirates, although they were very captivating. It seems wherever you turned, there was a fascinating place to put a stunning model. You will that see we went to some pretty dramatic places. Besides the beaches and coves there were the 14 th century cloisters, private villas, heritage sites, forts, and the famous Queen’s Staircase.
