About the Book
Dan Shale follows the action, and death follows him. While riding his big black through the foot of the Rockies on his way to help a friend, Shale was shot and left for dead. After escaping from the undertaker’s bloody table Shale was helped by a young boy and his mother, a young woman striving against insurmountable odds to save her ranch. After recovering, Shale is hired to help save the townspeople from a schemer among their mist. Shale, accused of murder and jailed, now faces a lynch mob. Ride along with Shale on his big black as he puts his peacemaker into action.
