About the Book
In 2009, Greg “Stormin’” Gorman was approached by three doctors to put his thoughts into words because they felt he had so much to share with the masses and that he could “make a difference” and “change the world.” Seven years later, it’s come full circle. It took two near-fatal evenings in November of 2015 for this masterpiece to finally come to fruition. Glue is an inspirational autobiography about a person who has experienced so much in half a century: the good times and bad times we all go through, how to deal with life on a daily basis, and keeping it—your life—together. Glue relates to everyone who needs inspiration through Greg’s endeavors as a hockey coach, the trials and tribulations he’s experienced in his life, and the stirring diagnosis he’s been dealt both physically and mentally. Once you pick up this book, you won’t put it down. It touches your heart, your soul, and your mind. It will make you think, it will move you to tears, and it will make you laugh and smile as well. Glue is the substance of life that keeps it together for each of us every day. And this is the guide we all need.
About the Author
About Greg “Stormin’” Gorman Greg is a lifelong St. Louisan who’s proud of his hometown, especially of his beloved St. Louis Blues NHL hockey team. The two things he cherishes the most are his family and his “extended family” (the hockey family—the many players and families he’s coached throughout the years). Whether it’s an ice rink or a roller rink, hockey is his sanctuary. It’s where he feels at home and where he feels at peace. Greg is also thankful for everyone that calls him friend, and he considers you—the reader—a faithful friend as well because you believe in him. “God bless you all always” is a decree he lives by, and so is always believing in yourself. “Once you believe, anything can happen” is his ultimate mantra for life.
