About the Book

Two young boys, Brandyn and Jared, go on a trip to the mountains with their parents. They go on a hike, pick apples, learn to skip rocks in a river and ride little cars on a large cabin porch. While there, they leave a short note on the door of the cabin. After they return home and are sitting down to dinner, they get an unexpected guest and a surprise.

About the Author

Jessiey James lives on one of the Great Lakes with her husband and adult children, along with one dog and a rambunctious cat. Jessiey is a Senior Writer and loving it. She enjoys swimming, horseback riding, sewing, gardening, reading and is absolutely nuts over genealogy. Going to Aunt Jessie’s House was her first self-published children’s book. And The Surprise Note is her second self-published children’s book. She believes there is a great need for more interesting books to read to young children. She hopes to provide interesting story time to the greats in her family such as great nieces and nephews and other young children. "Parents please keep reading to your kids" she suggests.
