About the Book
This book is about our creator God and the relationship we have with him, and those around us. It takes us on a journey of love and devotion. It takes us into the homes of friends and families and gives us a clear image of the power of love in our life. This book also gives its readers hope for the future, encourages us to share our gifts and talents with others, and also showcases people letting their character speak volumes of who they are. All this is done in the form of poetry which speaks so eloquently of the state of the human experience.
About the Author
About the Author Lincoln Morgan was born in Port of Spain, Trinidad, and now resides in Toronto, Canada. His early formal education was as a psychiatric nurse in Trinidad. He worked at the Douglass Hospital in Montreal for almost thirty-five years, retiring in 2003. He obtained his bachelor’s degree in sociology from Sir George Williams, now Concordia University and another bachelor’s degree in social work from McGill University. Having a busy work schedule and living an active lifestyle playing basketball, soccer, and cricket did not deter him from his passion for creative writing. He self-published his first two books of poetry in 1996 and 2004. His hope is that this current anthology will bring to its readers some of the same joy and moments of reflection.
