About the Author

Elizabeth Cusack is a native of California. She has lived in towns and villages in England, in the city of London, and in the city of Seoul, South Korea. She completed a Bachelor of Arts degree in Art at Colby-Sawyer College, New London, New Hampshire. Elizabeth began acting professionally at the age of eighteen and for most of her life has been active in the dramatic arts. Since 2020, she has published poetry online and with Fevers of the Mind Press. Lovers Leap is her first book of poetry and is inspired by the life of the ancient Greek poetess Sappho. In 2024, she wrote Nothing But the Sea, a one-woman or collaborative performance art piece, in poetic verse, celebrating Sappho.
